On Saturday 24th May 2008 at Howarth Road Methodist Church Explorers cooked their way to victory. The competition took the form of “Ready Steady Cook”, each unit with teams of 2, were given a bag of ingredients from which the team were to make a Three Course meal – there was also a larder which contained extra ingredients to use in the making of the meal.
The Teams were given 15 minutes prep time between1.30-1.45pm, in which they were to decide what they were making and to make a menu card. They then had 1½ hours to make their meal.

Winners were the Undergrounders (Haworth Rd)
