A whole week of Scout promotion took place between the 3rd and 9th of October at Sainsbury's in Greengates.
The plan was to raise awareness of what the Scouting Movement does, and hopefully find many new members for the Scout asociation.
It was been held in co operation with Sainsbury's who are a keen supporter of the Sctouing movement. Groups from the district were able to contribute, whether it be bag packing, bucket shaking, polishing shoes, litrally whatever they can think of to promote the Scouting Movement.
Speacial Banners were produced to show some of what we do as a Movement, and what we help achieve, not just the UK, but around the whole world in many Scouting Countries. By simply been there in uniform, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders are helping to promote the good work of Scouting.
